Skin Cancer Awareness
As we are all getting ready for summer and our holidays it is important to protect your skin against harmful UVA and UVB rays. UV radiation can penetrate skin and damage the DNA in the cells which can lead to mutations and may develop into skin cancer.
Protect your skin by staying out of the midday sun (between 11am and 3pm). Cover up by wearing loose fitting clothes, a hat and sunglasses.
Apply a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher, and reapply throughout the day, especially after swimming.
We have a range of sunscreen in store including Malibu and Nivea. We are also now stocking Ecran Protective Sun Milk. It protects against sunburn and prevents premature ageing whilst leaving the skin moisturised.
